DRAGO 2 - the most affordable efficient Corn Head.
The DRAGO 2 is designed for challenging crops, narrow rows and the harvest of down corn. It has low power demand reliability, easy maintenance and minimal wear.
Automatic Self- Adjusting Deck Plates
MINIMIZES HARVESTING LOSSES
DRAGO 2 is equipped with a patented system for an automatic adjustment of the deck plates spacings. Each row adjusts the distance of its deck plates automatically and independently of the other rows.
SPACINGS ADAPT CONSTANTLY
DRAGO 2 adapts constantly and optimally to the current field conditions and thereby minimizes harvesting losses considerably. Its deck plates work fully automatically. During harvest, no further intervention by the driver is necessary.
Extra Long Stalk Rollers
The stalk rollers of DRAGO 2 are up to 25% longer than those of competitors. At the same driving speed, the resulting lower rotational speed leads to slower entry of the corn plant and therefore to a gentler picking of the corn ear.
NO RIPPING, NO SHAKING
The mounted stalk roller knives are aligned with millimeter precision. This ensures that the corn plants are pulled down vertically without any vibrations being transmitted to the ear. A premature loss of the corn ear is thus prevented.
Flat Working Angle And Conical Gathering Chains
PERFECT IN DOWN CORN
Due to its low working angle and the flat design, DRAGO 2 allows an optimal harvest even under tough conditions. Thanks to the rear-mounted chopper, the gathering chains reach down right to the ground, which makes DRAGO 2 the perfect machine for down corn.
LESS STRAW IN THE COMBINE
Due to their conical design, DRAGO 2's gathering chains grasp the corn aggressively at first but release the plant as soon as the ear has been picked. This prevents unnecessary plant material from entering the feeder house. The smaller proportion of straw material in the combine
Efficient Chopping System
EVEN CHOPPING RESULT
DRAGO 2 can optionally be equipped with a stalk chopper. The extra-long chopping knives are located centrally in the row and cover the corn head's entire working width This enables an even distribution of the plant material and prevents swath formation.
MINIMAL WEAR COSTS
The chopper of DRAGO 2 is mounted directly onto the row's main gearbox without the necessity of angular gears, thus avoiding power losses. No other corn head chopping system is designed as efficient. The mounted chopper knives are hardened, particularly wear-resistant, and quick to change. Since only two knives per row are used, maintenance costs of DRAGO 2 are kept to a minimum.
EACH ROW SEPARATELY PROTECTED
To prevent any damage of gear components, each row is individually equipped with a slipping clutch. In addition, the drive trains of DRAGO 2 are protected by duplex chains.
Each row-unit holds a 4.5 kg fluid grease reservoir which feeds the main gearbox and the chopper. By using the built-in dipstick, the filling level is easily checked and a loss of grease can be detected in time. Furthermore, the modular setup of DRAGO 2 and the easy access to all components facilitate service and maintenance activities.
Efficient Oil Bath Drive
RELIABLE AND MAINTENANCE-FREE
DRAGO 2 is available with a two-sided oil bath transmission. The sealed chain drive saves weight, is maintenance-free and extremely durable.
ADJUSTEMENT OF DRIVING SPEED
If you wish to adjust the header's speed, you can do so at any time by replacing the sprockets fo the chain drive.
ALSO FOR SUNFLOWERS
DRAGO GT is quickly prepared for the sunflower harvest. Depending on the requirements and scope, it can be converted to a sunflower head in different stages.
CONVERTED WITHIN MINUTES
In the first step, a sunflower kit consisting of an active rotating knife and a counter blade is installed in each row unit of the header. This ensures a gentle removal of the sunflower heads during harvest. Per row, the mounting process requires only a few minutes.
SUNFLOWER HARVEST WITHOUT COMPROMISES
Furthermore, DRAGO GT can be equipped with a protection grid, which additionally prevents kernel losses. For larger and more fragile sunflower fields, the header's speed can be reduced by changing its drive gears. This allows an even gentler handling of the sunflowers.
Configuration And Accessories
DRAGO GT is available from four to 24 rows and with row spacings starting from 50cm. It can be ordered optionally with a hydraulic foldable frame and chopping system. Furthermore, you can equip your DRAGO GT with a variety of accessories to meet your individual needs.
FOR ALL COMBINES AND FORAGE HARVESTERS
DRAGO GT is available to match all common combines and forage harvesters and can also be supplied with additional mounting adapters for the use on different vehicles.
